POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (Feb. 8, 2018) — LCS Facility Group, the region’s most experienced and largest provider of facilities solutions, has been selected as a 2018 Family-Owned Business honoree by Westfair Communications Inc. LCS will be recognized at the organization’s awards ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018.
Family-owned businesses significantly impact the economy, both locally and nationally. They account for 64 of the nation’s gross domestic product, 36 percent of all employment, and 78 percent of all new job creation, according to the Conway Center for Family Business.
Westfair Communications Inc., publisher of the Westchester County Business Journal, has been recognizing outstanding family-owned businesses for five years through its Family-Owned Business competition. After a lengthy review process, a panel of judges selected the Poughkeepsie-based facilities maintenance provider from a record high volume of nominations. LCS Facility Group Owner Joe Lepore, along with his family, will join the leaders of 19 other family-owned businesses in Westchester and Fairfield counties at this upcoming awards banquet.

The Lepore family will be honored at a reception preceding a formal awards ceremony in the atrium of 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains.
